Privacy

UNTAP / MPLS is starting small. I only collect what’s needed to organize the night, process deposits, and learn whether people want another one.

What I collect

If you save a seat, the site collects your name, email, seat count, how you found the event, and whether Stripe confirmed your deposit. Stripe handles your card details; this site never receives or stores your full card number.

If you fill out the interest or waitlist form, the site stores your name, email, likely group size, Magic experience, what held you back, how you found the event, anything else you choose to share, and whether you agreed to hear about an open seat or future beginner night.

Basic analytics may include anonymous visitor and session IDs, page interactions, referral information, campaign tags, and a Facebook click ID when one is present.

How I use it

  • To confirm reservations and communicate material event updates.
  • To issue refunds when required.
  • To measure the funnel and compare the two small advertising tests.
  • To decide whether to hold or repeat the event.

Service providers

Stripe processes payments. Supabase stores experiment records. Vercel hosts the site and provides privacy-friendly pageview and performance measurements. Resend delivers reservation email. Google Analytics 4 and Meta Pixel may receive interaction and attribution events when their identifiers are configured.

Retention and requests

I’ll keep the data only as long as it’s reasonably needed to run the event, handle refunds, meet tax or accounting obligations, and decide what to do next. To request a copy or deletion of your information, reply to any event email you receive.
